Pau Gasol has attended an event organized by Probitas Foundation with 40 teenagers from IES Bellulla and Institut Domus d'Olivet who attend daily to Dinem Junts in Canovelles with the aim of inspiring them to follow a healthy lifestyle. As a demonstration of the networking that is carried out to develop this own program and with great differentiating value of Probitas Foundation, the meeting has been attended by Dr. Anna Veiga, general director of the foundation, Emilio Cordero, mayor of Canovelles, and Carol Gesa, project manager of the REIR Foundation.

Gasol has valued very positively the existence of the Dinem Junts program and has emphasized that this type of initiative "makes a difference" to help children not only eating properly but also to take care of their emotional health. In addition, he highlighted the importance of adolescents being able to pass on all the knowledge acquired in terms of healthy habits to their families.

The youngsters have been able to interact with the player, asking him questions about his lifestyle and his sports career and, afterwards, a dynamic basketball exercise has been organized in which they have shared the ball with the player.

Dr. Anna Veiga underlined the importance of a sports figure like Pau Gasol being involved in promoting healthy habits among young people. "With the Dinem Junts program we promote the acquisition of healthy habits in a socio-educational space with the accompaniment of social educators", says Veiga. Carol Gesa added that "with this program we seek to offer a safe and healthy environment to all the boys and girls who participate in it".
