The online course “Sexual and Affective Education” from Fundación Probitas has received the endorsement of the UNESCO Chair in Education and Technology for Social Change, which assessed its alignment with the Chair’s principles and values—emanating from UNESCO—along with its educational quality.

The program’s approach addresses the subject from an open and respectful perspective, inclusive and equitable, with a gender‑equality lens, democratic, and respectful of cultural diversity, and is aligned with UNESCO values and the SDGs.

The evaluation was carried out by the Edul@b research group from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), which analyzed its educational quality through indicators related to methodology, design and learning experience, interaction, and assessment system.

Course registration

The course “Sexual and Affective Education,” developed in collaboration with Fundación Dexeus Mujer, offers specialized training in sexual and affective education, providing professionals with resources and teaching materials that allow them to deliver sessions tailored to the needs of young people. Additionally, the program seeks to ensure that adolescents receive the information they need to understand and experience their sexuality in a healthy and responsible way.

This 10‑hour course is offered in a self‑paced format, allowing participants to adapt their learning to their own rhythm and availability. It consists of four training units:
• Puberty (physical, psychological, and social changes)
• Sexuality (affective relationships and building healthy sexuality)
• Contraception (information about contraceptive methods)
• STI prevention (essential knowledge to avoid sexually transmitted infections)

The training is available on the Campus Probitas platform and is offered free of charge to all individuals who accompany adolescents and young people and who are interested in improving their skills in this field.
