We have joined FEDAIA to strengthen network-based work for children’s rights
March 2, 2026
Probitas has joined FEDAIA (Federació d’Entitats d’Atenció a la Infància i l’Adolescència), which represents more than 100 social organizations in Catalonia committed to defending and promoting the rights of children and adolescents in vulnerable situations. This membership will facilitate the expansion of collaboration, advocacy, and knowledge exchange among entities.
FEDAIA promotes the effective guarantee of children’s fundamental rights such as access to education, social participation, healthcare, positive treatment, and protection from adverse situations including abandonment, neglect, abuse, or violence.
With this membership, Fundación Probitas strengthens its commitment to network-based work to improve the quality of life of children and adolescents. It will actively participate in knowledge-sharing spaces and contribute to the development of social strategies that directly affect children, adolescents, and their families. Probitas will contribute its experience in health and well being from the first level of care, in coordination with public services and in alliance with local organizations.
The incorporation of Probitas was approved on November 8, 2025, during FEDAIA’s General Assembly.
“Capacita’t” Workshop at the 29th FEDAIA Forum
The theme of the Forum “Beyond mental health: social action for emotional well being” aimed to share learnings on how to advance the guarantee of the right of children and adolescents to live in environments that foster emotional stability. It also sought to raise awareness about the importance of emotional well being through prevention and community work as a first step toward achieving good mental health.
At this forum, Probitas co facilitated—together with Salut Mental Catalunya—the workshop “Capacita’t- Train for the emotional well-being of adolescents and young people”, which was attended by more than twenty professionals.
The training provided basic tools to support children and adolescents, addressing topics such as combating stigma, strengthening personal resources, shared responsibility, and mental health first aid.
Professionals rated the training very positively, noting that it reinforces their daily work to jointly advance the improvement of well being and the comprehensive protection of children and adolescents.
